Every once in a while, we find ourself where, quite simply, we are not enjoying our lives. We get so caught up in pursuit of success, the process devours us & we miss out on success in the present whilst aiming for success in the future. Stephen Covey calls this ‘climbing the ladder of success only to find it leaning against the wrong wall’.
What we can do to ensure this doesn’t happen to us in the forthcoming new year is to engage ourselves in a ritual to ‘live in the now’ & enjoy the journey by taking the time to stop & smell the roses. I say ritual because we have to work constantly to enjoy the journey.
