In our lives, conventional goal setting generally tells us to ‘plan carefully, then act when appropriate’ . This is unusual perhaps, because almost everyone has a tale of best made plans that went to total ruin. The popularity of this process is down to a few things, but it seems the knowledge of planning helps us sleep better at night & gives the illusion that everything will work out fine!
